The study aims to shed light on the obstacles of professional growth in the light of quality standards and academic accreditation from the point of view of faculty members , The following obstacles: First: Occupational obstacles, including sub-dimensions (institutional capacity constraints, training obstacles, impediments to support and accounting, personal and family obstacles, constraints on professional burdens, , And the second axis of the obstacles of scientific research, which included the subdimensions (institutional capacity, support and accounting, personal constraints, and obstacles related to professional burdens) The third axis: obstacles to participation in scientific events and community service, The researchers prepared a questionnaire to identify the obstacles to professional growth in the light of quality standards and academic accreditation, And was verified for its sincerity and stability, The sample of the study consisted of 40 members of the teaching staff, Faculty of Education, Qassim University, (18 males, 22 females) with an average age of 42.3, the questionnaire was distributed electronically, The results of the study found that there were obstacles that were more prevalent among the sample members, And also renewed statistically significant differences between males and females in personal obstacles related to occupational disabilities, And the total degree of occupational barriers in the direction of males, While there were no significant differences on the other sub-dimensions, nor on the obstacles of scientific research, And obstacles to participation in scientific events and community service.

There were no significant differences due to experience, And in terms of degree, and found significant differences in the dimension of personal obstacles in the direction of Professor and Associate Professor, There were no differences on the other axes and sub-dimensions.

In the light of the obstacles, a proposed scenario for the development of professional growth was presented and the elimination of these obstacles.
