Abstract EN

This scientific article is an attempt to reach an objective answer on a issue centered on the employment of Algerian men in the French documentary films produced during the last hundred years.

Monitoring the most important changes that took place on its image from different aspects, from the stereotypical content to the use of these films in the struggle of memory between the colonizer and the colonized by monitoring the content of a set of some selected documentaries.

Cet article scientifique a pour but de répondre à la problématique de la présence de l’homme algérien dans les documentaires français produits durant les dernières cent ans, en utilisant une méthodologie analytique textuelle sur le contenu d’un échantillon de documentaires sélectionné, ou nous avons déterminé les principaux changements quant à l’image de l’homme algérien dans ses différents aspects, en faisant une lecture profonde de la mutation d’un contenu stéréotypique vers l’emploi de ces documentaires dans le conflit mémorial entre l’occupant et l’occupé.
