يعد المنظر الفرنسي جان بيسيير Jean Bessière من أهم منظري الأدب المقارن في القرن العشرين.
و قد تركت آراؤه في مجال الدراسات المقارنة صدى كبيرا في محافل النقد في أوروبا و العالم العربي.
فبعد أن نشرت أعماله و عرفت في فرنسا أصبح من النادر ألا نجد إشارة هنا أو هناك إلى هذا الناقد و المنظر الكبير.
و يحاول جان بيسيير في الدراسة التي نقدم ترجمة لها هنا أن يحدد ما يمكن أن تكون عليه الدراسات المقاربة و هي تسترجع بطريقة مقارنة و تاريخية بالتحديد بعض الإنجازات الرئيسية للنقد الأدبي المعاصر.
و من ثمة فهي تدعو إلى إعادة قراءة تقاليد الدراسات المقارنة و اقتراح ما يمكن اعتباره وسيلة لإعادة تشكيل الأدب المقارن التي من خلالها يمكن سرد هذا التقليد لهذا النقد المعاصر و للتيارات الرئيسية للأدب الغربي لمدة قرنين.
Abstract EN
The French theorist Jean BESSIÈRE is one of the most important theorists of comparative literature in the 20th century.
His views in the field of comparative studies have resonated greatly in monetary forums in Europe and the Arab world.
After publishing his work in France, and having explained and presented, it is rare to find a reference here or there to this critic and the great view.
Jean Bessiere, in the study we are translating here, tries to identify what approaches can be, and in a comparative and historical way, they reflect some of the major achievements of contemporary literary criticism.
It therefore calls for re-reading the traditions of comparative studies and suggesting what can be considered as a means of reshaping the comparative literature through which this tradition can be described in contemporary criticism and in the main trends of Western literature for two centuries.

Le théoricien français Jean BESSIÈRE est l’un des théoriciens les plus importants de la littérature comparée au Xxe siècle.
Ses opinions dans le domaine des études comparatives ont beaucoup résonné dans les forums monétaires en Europe et dans le monde arabe.
Après avoir publié son travail en France, et après avoir expliqué et présenté, il est rare de trouver une référence ici ou là à cette critique et à la grande vue.
Jean Bessière, dans l’étude que nous traduisons ici, tente d’identifier les approches possibles et, d’une manière comparative et historique, reflète certaines des réalisations majeures de la critique littéraire contemporaine.
Il appelle donc à relire les traditions des études comparatives et à suggérer ce qui peut être considéré comme un moyen de remodeler la littérature comparée à travers laquelle cette tradition peut être décrite dans la critique contemporaine et dans les grandes tendances de la littérature occidentale pendant deux siècles.
