The current study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of a program based on the use of some active learning strategies in the teaching of social education to develop the skills of meditative thinking and the trend towards subject in the students of the upper core stage and the researcher has used the semi-experimental method in verification Some of the study's questions focused on: What are the meditative thinking skills to be developed in ninth grade students in the social education research? Are there statistically significant differences between the average grades of students of the experimental group who were educated using active learning strategies, and the grades of the students of the control group who learned the usual way in the dimensional application of the observation card for meditation thinking skills for the benefit of the group Experimental? Are there statistically significant differences between the average grades of students of the experimental group who were educated using active learning strategies, and the grades of the students of the control group who learned in the usual way in the dimensional application of the scale of the trend towards the subject of social education for the benefit of the group Experimentation.

Some of the active learning strategies were selected, namely (collaborative learning - thought of Juz-Shark- Brainstorming) and presented in a diverse and integrated manner and the researcher carried out the study experiment on the subjects of the first unit of the first chapter, namely (political fragmentation and policy of economic colonialism in the Arab world and the politics of ignorance and the policy of repression) for a period of one month from (October 1, 2019) to (October 31, 2019) according to the school schedule (three classes per week).

The sample of the study was selected from among the students of the ninth grade at Beit Lahia Basic School for Boys in northern Gaza governorate, where two classes were selected equal in number and equal in different aspects (age- gender - economic and social level) and one of the two chapters (1/1) was selected for the experimental group of the study that I learned using some active learning strategies, chapter two (1/2) of the group that learned the usual way of (34) in the experimental group and (34) in the control group and the researcher checked the courses using the appropriate statistical method through the spss program The results were explained in the light of the theoretical framework and previous studies and in the light of those?
