More than 250 million children today work around the world, 150 million of them in hazardous conditions.

Each year, more than 1 million of these children are victims of ill-treatment.

Our study aims at determining the legal capacity for the economic exploitation of children in Algerian legislation, and to what extent the legal penalties prescribed for violating the age of employment were a deterrent to prevent economic exploitation of them and concluded that the elimination of the worst forms of child labor, It is a collective responsibility that does not belong to one particular entity, and the texts and sanctions are not enough on their own, but the participation of official and non-official bodies, to combat it is necessary and urgent to protect the childhood segment, the youth of tomorrow and the builders of the future.
