Conflict over the dowry can occur between the spouses or their heirs, which takes several forms, such as the dispute over the possession of the dowry or the conflict in its value, or the dispute over the dowry of the secret and the dowry of publicity, which raises a problem about the validity of the standard that the family law devoted to resolving various forms of conflict In the dowry.

This study aims to clarify the solution for each form of conflict in the dowry, and several results have been reached, the most important of which is that the standard adopted by Article 17 of the Family Law is not suitable for application in all cases of conflict in the dowry.
