The present article discusses the theory of relevance founded by Sperber Wilson.

It falls in the scope of what is known in the modern linguistics as cognitive pragmatics.

The theory sought to find the interpretation of the utterances relying on the process of induction through the duality of influence and effort to reach the intent of the speaker.

Thus, our objective is to detect the mechanisms of interpretation represented by the researchers to understand the process of communication.
