Algeria has a huge endowment Waqf that the public authorities must preserve and value, but the state did not pay attention to the civilizational, economic and developmental importance that the Waqf Foundation can play only after the economic crisis in 1986, where the national authorities were expected, after independence, to enact laws Effective and regulatory texts that would put an end to the negative consequences of the colonial period, where blatant property was violated and legal nature changed, but political thought made the Algerian legislator take a series of legal and regulatory texts based on the socialist orientation without Interest in Waqf properties, and the real start in protecting and reforming Waqf properties was only the issuance of the 1989 Constitution.
