In recent years, Mixed Method Research (MMR) has become increasingly popular in the field of research of languages teaching and learning because of its distinguished advantages.

However, MMR has not popular in the field of research of Arabic language teaching and learning because of lack of availabilities Arabic resources.

This is because the MMR is new in the field of research of languages teaching land learning.

Therefore, this exploratory research aimed to draw attention of researchers of Arabic language teaching and learning to MMR approach.

Several issues were discussed such as MMR history, definitions, paradigms, design, advantages, and challenges.

In addition, the researcher examined the using MMR in the field of research of Arabic language teaching and learning.

The results showed that none of these researches using MMR during the period between 2008-2018.

In other hand, the research examined the using MMR in the field of languages teaching and learning.

He found about 100 dissertations, plenty researches, and books.

Based on the results, recommendations were presented.
