Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of a parent-based program in developing some leadership skills among a sample of kindergarten children and to identify the continuity of the program's impact.

The importance of research is to highlight the importance of parental participation in achieving the objectives of the program in developing leadership skills of the kindergarten child, and to provide a list of some of those skills.

The study sample consisted of (24) kindergarten children, ages of (5-6) years with an average age of (63.7) months and a standard deviation of (1.92).

They were divided into two groups, one is the control group and the other is the experimental group, each group consists of (12) children.

They were exposed to the measure of leadership skills for Kindergarten children, and a program based on parental participation.

The research relied on the semi-experimental approach as it is the most appropriate to the research.

The results of the research: 1- There were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the children in the control and experimental groups on the leadership skills scale in Kindergarten children.

Upon the implementation of the program, on both groups the differences were for the children of the experimental group.

2- There were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the children in the experimental group before and after the implementation of the program on the scale of leadership skills among kindergarten children, and differences were in favor of the post-application.

3- There were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of children in the experimental group on the scale of leadership skills for children immediately after the program implementation and two months after the end of the program.
