Abstract EN

This study aimed to know the potential for digital transformation in public and private universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to monitoring the reality of digital transformation between them in light of global crises and disasters.

In light of the nature of the study problem and its goals, the researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach, and the researcher designed a measure of the readiness of public and Private universities for digital transformation, and the application was made on a sample of faculty members in universities, and consisting of (100) faculty members in public universities and, (100) of Private universities, the study Results that there are statistically significant differences between public and Private universities in the availability of the material elements necessary for the digital transformation in favor of the Private universities, and there are statistically significant differences between public and Private universities in the availability of digital competencies among faculty members in Private universities, there are statistically significant differences between public and Private universities in the possibility of the digital transformation of education in light of crises in favor of the Private universities, and it is clear from this that there is a significant effect of the difference in the public and Private universitieson the extent of the possibility of digital transformation of education in light of the current crises.
