Abstract EN

This study aims to compare the teacher preparation programs in the College of Education at University of Hail and the College of Education at Qatar University.

The researcher used the descriptive approach in order to answer the sub-questions of the study.

A questionnaire was used after verifying its validity and reliability, where at the last stage the tool has 66 phrases divided into five aspects: (Admissions policies, The study plan, Student activities and research centers, Subsidies and support services, Benefiting from the field training program).

Then implement the study tool on the study sample that consists of 232 field training students (Male and Female) in both the College of Education at University of Hail and the College of Education at Qatar University.

The results of this study have revealed that all the study samples are positively toward the five aspects.

However, there were statistically significant differences (α ≥ 0.05) between students' opinion in both colleges in favor of field training students in the College of Education at Qatar University.

Therefore, the findings of this study suggests a several recommendations to The College of Education at University of Hail, the most important are: reconsider and enhance the admissions policies, participate in educational programs and attend local and international seminars and conferences، strengthen subsidies and improve support services, intensify field training during periods of classroom and not be limited only in the last semester, subjecting the College of Education at the University of Hail National Council in order to base teacher preparation programs (NCATE).

Following these recommendations would provide the educational fields in Saudi Arabia such a high quality of teachers and professional alumni that might gain worldwide recognition.
