Abstract EN

Most of the novelists have often been inspired and used the legend in their narrative texts and based on the fact that the abundance of the Algerian narrative productions full of the employment of legends does not correspond to the critical care surrounding this production as we read critical reviews.

This article will try to trace some legendary language in some Algerian novels by as a way of representation but not limited, depending on the description and the application of the sayings of legendary criticism, to reach the conclusion that the presence of an intense legendary language in the Algerian novel, represented by evidence that is included in the folds of this research paper, suggests a manifestation or compliance with the literary genre in which it occurred or the position in which it emerged.
