Abstract EN

This research aims to show the importance of the investment climate for the attractiveness of foreign direct investment with an evaluative study of Algeria during the period 2000-2019.

The first theoretical part is devoted to some theoretical concepts essential to analyze the relationship between the business climate and the flow of foreign direct investment in particular.

The second part is devoted to practice in order to describe analyze and evaluate the efforts of Algeria in this area, especially after the security and political stability of payroll.

Emphasis was placed on measures taken with regard to motivation and legislation.

The research concluded that on the theoretical side the operation of attracting foreign investment depends mainly on the degree of attractiveness of the investment climate of the country concerned.

On the practical side with regard to Algeria, the investment climate remains unclear, especially from the point of view of legislation.
