The study aims at revealing the connection between self-efficacy and the tendency towards obtaining a healthy behavior in a comparative study between students of Sciences and Techniques of Physical Activity and Sport (staps) and students of Sciences and Law at the University of M’sila.

The study has presented literature of the subject.

This includes the multiple theories and the samples that explain the study variables.

In the light of all this, the researcher raised the following problematic: Is there any connection between self-efficacy and the tendency towards obtaining a healthy behavior as far as students already mentioned in the sample are concerned? The sample consisted of 750-student randomly selected out of 7503, making 10% out of the whole population.

The study makes use of Ralf Schwarzer’s selfefficacy test translated by Djamil Redwane, and the tendency towards healthy behavior test prepared by the researcher.

The study comes to the following conclusions: 1-There is a connection between self-efficacy and the tendency of obtaining a healthy behavior as far as students already mentioned in the sample are concerned.

2-The level of the students’, in the sample at hand, self-efficacy is high.

3-There are statistically significant differences in self-efficacy regarding sex variable of the students of the study’s sample.

4- There are statistically significant differences in self-efficacy regarding specialty variable (when comparingstudents from three faculties).

5- There are statistically significant differences in self-efficacy regarding the Baccalaureate stream variable of the students of the study’s sample.

6-Students of the study’s sample possess a positive healthy behavior.

7- There are statistically significant differences in healthy behavior regarding sex variable for students of the study.

8- There are statistically significant differences in healthy conduct regarding specialty variable for students of the study.

9- There are no statistically significant differences in healthy conduct regarding the Baccalaureate stream variable of the students of the study’s sample.
