Abstract EN

This study aims to measure and analyze the relationship of the budget deficit to the current account and economic growth in Algeria (2000-2018).

It relied on the error correction model and shock response functions.

And I concluded that there is no causal relationship between the budget deficit, the current account, and economic growth.

And that a positive shock in the budget deficit will have a positive impact on the current account in the short term and a negative effect in the medium and long term, and a positive impact in the short term and a negative impact in the medium and long term in economic growth.

Cette étude vise à mesurer et d'analyser la relation du déficit budgétaire avec le compte courant et la croissance économique en Algérie (2000-2018).

Elle s'est appuyée sur le modèle de correction d'erreur et les fonctions de réponse aux chocs.

L'étude a révélé qu'il n'y a pas de relation de causalité entre le déficit budgétaire et le compte courant et la croissance économique, et qu'un choc positif du déficit budgétaire aura un effet moral positif sur le compte courant à court terme et un impact négatif à moyen et long terme, Il a un impact positif à court terme et un effet négatif à moyen et long terme sur croissance économique
