Abstract EN

This study aims to clarify the reality and the fact of the infrastructure quality in Algeria, by shedding the light on the traditional and modern sources of infrastructure financing, and the position of Algeria in the secondary infrastructure scales of Arab countries.

The study reached a major result that shows although the important financing on the infrastructures, the competitiveness of the Algerian economy rests weak especially about the efficiency of the transportation infrastructure and the railways; therefore, the ranking of Algeria in the last years is late according to the international competitiveness reports issued by the world economic forum.
