One of the manifestations of textual coherence in identical structures is the phenomenon of the semantic counterpart, which is what corresponds to the structure content of semantic meaning.

The semantic counterpart comes in a variety of forms: the interpretive counterpart, in which the semantic analogy explains the content of the composition semantically, and the reciprocal counterpart, in which the counterpart exchanges some words of identical composition, and the integrative counterpart, in which the counterpart is integrated with the matching structure semantically.

These semantic relationships between the semantic counterpart and the matching structure constitute bonds that bind the parts of the text together.
