تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة دور عمليات الاندماج في تحسين و رفع الأداء المالي في المصارف باستخدام التحليل المالي آخذين بذلك تجربة Bank of America خلال الفترة (1997-2018) كعينة لإجراء هذه الدراسة باعتباره ثاني أكبر مصرف في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
و توصلت الدراسة إلى أن Bank of America قد استطاع تحسين أدائه المالي بعد عمليات الاندماج التي قام بها، خاصة عند اندماجه مع Nation Bank عام 1998 حيث تحسنت لديه كل من مؤشرات الربحية، السيولة و الملاءة المالية.
Abstract EN
This study aims to invistigate the role of mergers in improving and raising financial performance in banks, using financial analysis.
The study takes the Bank of America experience as a sample during the period 1997-2018.
For as the second largest bank in the United States of America.
The study found that Bank of America was able to improve its financial performance after its merger, especially when it merged with Nation Bank in 1998.
The study also found that for both profitability, liquidity and financial solvency indicators were improved.
