This study aims to Reveal the nature of the relationship between self- respect and social anxiety among a sample of blind children, also Studying the differences between male and female blind children in self- respect.

Comparison between male and female blind children in social anxiety.

The sample of the study included (n= 100) boys and girls, of which 50 males 50 female blind children, their ages ranged between (11-12) years of males and females with an average age of 11.520 and a standard deviation of 0.502 They were chosen intentionally.

Several tools were used to verify the validity of the hypotheses of this study, namely; The Scale of Self- respect for blind children.

(Prepared by the researcher), The Scale of social anxiety for Hind children.

(Prepared by the researcher), The Scale of The socio- economic and cultural level scale (prepared by Mohammad Saafen and Dua'a Khattab, 2016), The Scale of The Intelligence Scale for the Blind (Farouk Moussa, 2010), It is an intelligence test for the blind for the elementary, preparatory, and secondary levels.

It was used in this study to exclude those whose intelligence level is below average, and to calculate the parifly between male and female children who are blind in intelligence.

Results: The results indicated that there is a statistically negative correlation between the study sample scores from blind children on the self- respect scales for children and the social anxiety of children in a sample of blind children, and feat there are statistically significant differences between fee mean scores of male and female scores of blind children on fee scale of self- respect, and there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of fee study sample from blind male and female children on the scale of social anxiety in the direction of the female.
