Abstract EN

Introduction: Children of all ages receive special importance from society, and caring for childhood is an important indicator of the characteristics of any society that seeks to build a person who can bear the burdens of life and contribute to building his society.

Problem of the study: The study problem can be crystallized in the following main question: "The role of songs and religious songs in Islamic and Christian satellite channels in providing children with some religious concepts"? Importance: The importance of the study comes from the importance of the subject it deals with, which is religious concepts in children's songs, as religious concepts in the current period are the concern of the local community.

Objectives: Learn about the extent of the spread of religious concepts in songs and songs directed to children in Islamic and Christian satellite channels.

Society: The study community is represented in all Islamic and Christian religious songs and chants that are shown on Islamic and Christian satellite channels.

The field study community was represented in primary school pupils from (9-12) years in Greater Cairo Govemorate.

Sample of the study: The field sample: It consists of a sample of400 women from the age (9-12).

Tools: The present study data was collected through a set of tools the survey newspaper.

Results: The most important reasons for children to follow the study sample for the Islamic/ Christian satellite channels was represented in "to obtain religious information", where it came in the first rank 73.5%, followed by the reason for "developing with religious sense" by 65.1%, and in the third order came "feeling fun" by 64.6%, and in the fourth rank, "my attitude towards some behaviors" showed by 62.0%.
