Abstract EN

In which I traced the use of the conjunctive FA and identified its meanings, and the impact of the context on the selection of this particle in particular, although there are other conjunction particles such as WA, for example.

I examined instance separately and identified the type of words (nouns, verbs or prepositions) to which FA is attached.

I also analyzed the different irregular modes of recitation for each instance.

Results showed that conjunctive FA is the most powerful particle in linking words, it marks succession, but not always speed according to the context.

the story of Abraham in Surat al-Saffat is where the conjunctive FA has the highest frequency in the whole corpus of the Quran.

this is in harmony with the goals and purposes of the surah, and in harmony and with its general and specific contexts.
