This study focuses on the military dimension of the defense and security syndrome, in order to understand conflicts from the perspective of realists, and through the dilemma of defense and security and the relationship between them, we can take note of the causes and factors that lead to several situations of strategic dilemma's caused by the defensive and offensive military capabilities of States at the level of international politics, and their impact on strategic stability and international security.
