Abstract EN

The study aimed to improve the performance of school leaders in Albaha region of National Accreditation standards and Quality Authority from the point of and build a proposed scenario for performance development.

To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher used the descriptive aproch.

The study population was (164) ledarship.

And sample consisted of (134) leaders.

The questionnaire was used to collecte the data after cheeked the validity reliability.

The results showed that the performance of the school leaders was moderte with mean of (3.31).

Also the degree of availability of performance development requirements was moderte, with mean of (3.09).

The results also indicate that there were no statistically significant differences due to the variables of the educational stage, qualification, and experience.

In light of the results, the study recommends the need to train school leaders on the theories and trends of modern education in the field of educational management to be able to manage change, and the application of the principles of total quality in schools.
