Abstract EN

The world is witnessing a growing interest in water issues which became the concern of peoples and governments of different countries especially of those that suffer from pollution which ruined their systems and their streams at a level that it had a negative aspect on the environment and on the health of citizen himself who is the one responsible behind this phenomenon.

As the protection of water remains as one of the necessary elements of protecting the environment, the Algerian government as other countries in the world, planned a new ecological policy to protect and preserve this resource believing that water is a crucial pillar in the ecological, social, and economic development.

As a matter of fact, the sustainable development must be interpreted in laws, programmers as well as in projects to protect man's and the environmental balance
