Abstract EN

The world is witnessing a cognitive revolution that has developed the traditional concepts: structural, behaviorist, and computational, into an interdisciplinary cognitive current that focuses on analyzing the translator's mental process in order to allow him to exploit all his mental capacities, in the aim of fulfilling a communicative process, particularly when it is about a holy Quranic text.

This paper aims to shed the light on Cognitive Approach's contribution when translating Islamic economic concepts, which permits the translator to call for all his mental capacities, and activates his short and long term memory, then analyzes its results through a mathematical algorithm.

This later, basing on generative linguistics, helps the brain to pick an equivalent term which is the closest to the Islamic economic one in both sense and form in the aim of well transmitting its semantic, affective and spiritual charge to the reader.
