تختلف النصوص الطبية من نوع إلى آخر على حسب الوظيفة التواصلية للخطاب العلمي و على مترجم هذه النصوص المحافظة على وظيفتها و خصائصها و تجاوز مختلف الصعوبات التي تطرحها خصوصية اللغة الطبية و الترجمة المتخصصة.
ستتطرق الباحثة في هذا المقال الموسوم بـ: " الترجمة الطبية و أزمة المصطلحات في الوطن العربي" إلى إبراز مراحل الترجمة الطبية و صعوباتها و تحديد كفاءات المترجم العلمي التي تمكنه من مواجهة مختلف المعيقات المتعلقة بالنصوص العلمية و التقنية كما ستطرح مشكلات ترجمة المصطلحات الطبية في الوطن العربي لتقترح في الأخير منهجية للتحكم في المصطلحية الطبية بالاعتماد على الوسائل المعاصرة التي تسخرها التكنولوجية و ذلك في سبيل النهوض باللغة العربية العلمية و تطويرها.

Medical texts differ from genre to another according to the communicational function of the scientific discourse; the translator must preserve their characteristics and deal with different difficulties of the medical language.
In the present article: ”Medical Translation and Terms Crisis in the Arabic World”, the researcher explains the steps of medical translation and the competences of scientific translators, exposes the problems of medical terms translation in the Arabic world, and suggests a methodology to control the medical terminology and to develop the Arabic scientific language using modern means.
