Abstract EN

The current research aims to know the effect of using McCarthy model (4MAT) in teaching developmental psychology curriculum in scientific concepts included Course topics acquisition and developing the skills of scientific thinking of the second grade students of home economics colleges al-azhar university to achieve this objective was used the descriptive analytical approach and the experimental methodology, The research sample was intentionally chosen from the students of the two Department studying the course, these are the Department of home economics( Educational Division) and the Department of Family and Childhood Institutions Management, which were (52) students of the two sections, and the experimental design with two experimental equivalents groups of (26) students studying according to the 4MAT Model and a control group consisting of (26) students studying according to the usual method, and the equality of the two groups was confirmed, and some topics were chosen from the growth psychology course for second year students designed according to the the 4MAT Model.
