The practical application and field training for students is the first test of the reality of the labor market, which provides it with a set of initial experiences in linking the knowledge and concepts that he received during the study of the various academic requirements with the reality on the ground in which he finds the initial indications and impressions of the work environment with its requirements, its main obstacles and the mechanisms to overcome them.
Both Sobhi Hassanein and Hamdi Abdel Moneim stated: “The greater the mastery of theoretical knowledge and methods of its application, as well as the basic information of an athlete, the more able he is to develop and develop the athletic level of individuals.
Through the researchers 'observation of the development of the students' level after simulating the sports competitions and tournaments in their various stages, so the researchers saw the role of the practical application of the management and organization of sports tournaments in the cognitive achievement of the students of the College of Physical Education and the research aims to identify the role of the practical application of the management of sports tournaments in the cognitive achievement of college students Physical Education The researcher used the experimental approach using two groups, a control group and an experimental group.
The research community included students of the third year at the Faculty of Physical Education, University of Beni Suef in the academic year 2019/2020 and their total number (108 male and female students).
The target sample was chosen to apply the experiment randomly and their number is (78) students.
The most important results were: The existence of statistically significant differences between the control group and the experimental group in favor of the experimental group and that the practical application of the management of sports tournaments had a positive role on the cognitive achievement of students of the fourth year of the Faculty of Physical Education, and there was an improvement in the cognitive achievement of the group that carried out the practical application of organizing and managing sports tournaments compared to the group that Teaching is just her.
