The Seleucid Kingdom is one of the kingdoms that arose after the disintegration of Alexander the Great's empire, and included the lands of Syria, Mesopotamia, and parts of Asia Minor, and the lands that Alexander the Great controlled in the East and other lands.

Thanks to the establishment and expansion of this empire, it is due to the person of Seleucus I, he was a successful and efficient king for that title nicator, meaning the victor, and he is among the leaders of Alexander the Great who participated in building the Macedonian Empire.
