The research aims to identify the level of emotional arousal for the research sample, as well as to identify the differences in the mean of emotional arousal scores depending on the sex of the students, the type of tests and the interaction between them.
The researchers used the descriptive manner surveys, The research sample included 125 students from the School of Physical Education / faculty of Education - University of Soran/Iraq for the academic year 2012/2013, they make up (95.42%) of the research community, and this percentage has been divided randomly into two groups, a group of theoretical tests which included (45) students and a group of practical tests is (80) students, The researchers was adopted on measure arousal emotional which prepared by (Dorothy.
Q.
Harrison) and translated to Arabic by (Osama full salary of 1997), Then statistical treatment has been done by using the statistical program SPSS.
Then has been extracted the percentage, mean, standard deviation and coefficient of correlation (Pearson) and analysis of variance by Two-Way ANOVA .
The most important of the researchers finding is the enjoyment of the students when performing the theoretical tests by high emotional arousal.
As well as there are significant differences in the mean scores of emotional arousal depending on the sex of the students, depending on the type of tests and depending on the interaction of students with the type of sex tests.
The researchers recommended that needs for attention, psychological dealing comfort and create an atmosphere of psychological stability for students during the performance of the practical and theoretical tests, as well as the study of some of the other psychological variables and find a relationship with the level of achievement in the practical and theoretical tests.
