Abstract EN

This research aims at studying pigeons and their cooing in the Andalusian poetry as a component of the poetic creation , a motivation for composing verse and as an element in the structure of the Arabic poem changing actively the poetic text from the static state to a moving state.

The research also aims at showing the Andalusian poet's ability in employing the relationship between the pigeon and its mate in expressing meanings of longing and losing one's mate either directly or symbolically through investigating the aesthetic descriptive dimension, the brotherhood dimension and the subjective psychological dimension.
