يتناول البحث دراسة حياة المستشرق ستانلي لين بول(1854- 1931م) و سيرته الشخصية و كتاب صلاح الدين و سقوط مملكة القدس و دراسة أهمية الكتاب و سبب تأليفه وموضوعه إضافة الى الموارد التي اعتمدها لين بول في تأليف هذا الكتاب ثم المنهج و اسلوب المؤلف في طرحه للمواضيع التي تناولها في كتابه.

) and his biography and the Book “ Saladin and the Fall of the Kingdom of Jerusalem ”.
The study of the importance of the book and the reason for writing, its subject, and the resources that Lynn Paul used in authoring this book.
Then the method and style of the author in introducing the subjects that have been dealt in his book
