The current study aims to identify the level of anxiety resulting from the exposure of users of the social networking site "Facebook" to false and fake news in light of the spread of the Corona virus, as this space constitutes an important space and space for news and information in light of crises, disasters and epidemics.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the survey method The media, both descriptive and analytical, the study sample consisted of (200) respondents who were randomly selected and represent a group of Algerians who meet their needs for news and information about Covid 19 through social networking sites.
