Abstract EN

The study examined the effect of climate factors on peanut crop productivity in the New Halfa Agricultural Scheme in Kassala State - Sudan, from (1981 - 2017), and the study aimed to identify the optimal climate elements for peanut crop production and compare it with the climatic conditions prevailing in the project area Study and analyze the effect of different climate factors on the productivity of peanuts in the project, then develop a matrix of recommendations that can contribute to increasing and sustaining productivity in the project and similar areas in Sudan.

The study concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship between the average annual rain, relative humidity, evaporation and acre productivity of the peanut crop in the project, and there is no statistically significant relationship between peanut productivity, temperatures, wind speed, and solar radiation, as the study reached to It affects the climate elements combined in the productivity of peanut acres in the project.

The study recommended that the project area should be divided into production areas (Production Zones) according to the natural characteristics of each region with providing each area with an air monitoring station, and paying attention to early agriculture, which leads to a rapid and dense crop growth that increases productivity, and adjusts the irrigation process during rain and that to avoid drowning, the increase in soil moisture leads to low quality
