Tourism is the industry of the new century and directly reflects the extent of cultural progress and openness of civilization to the other and despite being a service industry in the foundation, but the umbrella of the University of many industries and activities that affect and are affected by.

Accordingly, this study aims to determine the contribution of the tourism industry to sustainable local development by highlighting its role in achieving revenues for the local administration, reducing unemployment, strengthening the infrastructure, and spreading culture and awareness.

The study found that although the municipality is a tourist destination and a pioneering experience, it remains far from the desired goals and recommended that our study be more efforts to promote tourism and achieve sustainable development through it.
