Abstract EN

This research aims at studying the phenomenon of deltas which occur along Hadhramout coasts in which some dray valleys flow.

Bueish Valley is one of these valleys and its delta is considered to be one of the most important deltas in Hadhramout coast.

The research first tackled the geology, typology and climate of the area then it moved to the morphometric analysis of the delta and its geomorphologic phenomenon, its water sources, the human activities and the use of land there.

The researcher concluded that the delta has some various morphological phenomena, such as valley streams, stone barriers, plateaus, terraces, sand dunes .The soil of the delta is almost sandy and its water is in small quantity and in a continuous decrease.

There are a lot of Sesbania Sesban trees and this reduces the delta areas suitable for agriculture.

The researcher employed the original approach in this study depending on contour and geological maps, satellite images for the area in addition to observation and field visits.

The study was also supported with pictures and mechanical analysis of the delta sediments.
