Abstract EN

This paper aims to highlight the reality of engaging civil society in archieving local governance in Algeria, by diagnosing its relationship with local administrations, and clarifying the problems that it contributes to local development governance.

As a result of our most important findings that the political power in Algeria does not consider civil society as partner in the process of governance, but imposes many restrictions on its movements.

He was also granted the right to hear his views, but according to the discetion of the local decision-maker.
