Abstract EN

This research paper examines a descriptive and analytical study on the subject of e -voting techniques, by extrapolating the experiences of some countries that have applied these techniques, to see their importance, which has increased in their use in contemporary democratic practices to develop and improve the procedures of the electoral process.

The most important results were that e-voting improves the performance of the electoral process by saving time costs, effort and expanding the scope of popular participation after the decline in levels of confidence and transparency in traditional voting methods, despite some challenges that affect when applying these technologies at the level of secrecy privacy and cyber security.
