This article aims to describe and analyze the reality of bad security governance practices in Africa by focusing on sample of the PMSC’s activities in selected cases of contracting African countries.

For this, the article assumes that The transfer of privatization wave to the security field has led to the emergence and spread of private security actors in countries facing many security threats and transforming the threat environment into foreign markets for security trading, based on the logic of the brutal free market, dominated by mercenarism and the absence of morality.

In conclusion, the test demonstrates that the private security governance in African countries has harmed their economies, and violated the rights to life and security of their peoples, moreover, violated the human dignity of their African-contracted employeres
