This study tries to examine how illegal immigration has become more and more a threat to the stability and even identity of european nations to the point the phenomenon is considered as a real security concern, so that politicians, security elites and academics are qualifing it among securitisation issues that need to put enough stress on it.

Such issues are highlighted in this study, such as, how measures and procesudes taken towards illegal immigrants raise a real dilemma which is how to implement an effective strategy that can help, from one hand make an end or at leat minimize illegal immigration, and from the other hand ensuring the protection of human side of this phenomenon, especially when it comes to european nations as host countries with a hostile and unwelcoming attitudes towards illegal immigration.
