Abstract EN

In Algeria, recently sensitive sectors have been a target to many cyber-attacks because of their increasing use of communication technologies in several administrations and companies.

The information systems have been threatened and became vulnerable to various cyber threats, which prompted the authorities to pay more attention to the field of information security.

This study aims to analyse the different procedures that Algeria has taken against cybercrimes and to find out the position of information security.

The study concluded that despite of all the efforts to establish a strong information security system by the Algerian authorities, its not sufficient yet comparing to the challenges that are forced by technology
