The study aims to analyze the pattern of interaction between ethno-identity violence and the nature of collective memory in post-traumatic societies in Africa.

The anthological value of the subject is highlighted in its treatment of the nature of social construction and how differences in the construction of ideas and identities form the basic principles that often lead to Conflict and the perpetuation of conflict in Africa, the outbreak of violence by ethnic groups as an inherent characteristic of internal wars, particularly those in the African continent, which have been translated into genocide, has resulted in ethnic cleansing in many countries, which produced the conflict in this context many of the risks and threats in order to maintain the continuation of the conflict not to win the war but to achieve the profit resulting from instability during the conflict.

Through the study we analyze the various variables that formed the violent dynamics that directly affected the the emergence of the memory dimension as a starting point for rebuilding the identity dimension within societies in Africa.
