Abstract EN

Through this research, we seek to shed light on an important stage in the history of Andalusia in which the country has known the pioneers of its cultural formation, And that was during the Umayyad era extending from 138 AH / 755 AD to 422 AH / 1030 AD, where the country experienced an intellectual development and a scientific renaissance that became popular throughout the world at the time.

And to search also for the backgrounds of this development and the factors contributing to it, especially the role of the Islamic Orient countries that were the focus of the journey of Andalusian scholars and students who traveled to it in large numbers and in successive periods of the history of Andalusia, and carried with them the knowledge of the East and its sciences to Andalusia, and thus contributed to its scientific and intellectual development.
