Abstract EN

The study aimed at revealing the organizational and technological readiness of Saudi universities and their level to play their role in supporting the knowledge economy and promoting digital transformation according to the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

This objective is subdivided into the following objectives: Identifying the main organizational and technological challenges and constraints that impede universities' role in the process of digital transformation and knowledge economy, and how to overcome them.

Propose an integrated framework to activate the organizational and technological role of universities to support the knowledge economy and promote digital transformation according to Vision 2030.

The study relied on the descriptive analytical method of the study subject, in addition to the inductive method.

The research was based on the analysis of the results of the questionnaire form prepared to achieve the goal of the research, and the study found that there is a significant relationship between the organizational and technological readiness of universities and support the knowledge economy and promote the process of digitization, Knowledge investment can only be completed as scientific research outputs turn into knowledge products and move into existing industries and marketable products.
