Humans have been found where there is water، and life takes place wherever there is a source of water.

This study was keen on going deep in stydying water historically، religiously and mythologically through folk tales about water and its living and non - living organisms.

Therefore، the study necessitated the use of the descriptive and analytical methodology، to describe the status of water in the monotheistic religions and in Arab societies، which in turn was reflected in folk tales and strange creatures it tells about whether healing or protective، or human whales or seductive nymphs، and other creatures، as well as mythical fleets that build on wild and domestic animals to get its blessings or to avoid hurting.

The historical method was also used to monitor the status of water in ancient civilizations، which is considered as a component of all gods and dominated them.
