The study focuses on Shaykhunia Khanqah which was considered one of the important khanqahs that was established at Cairo in the mamluke age from its entail capacity and the beauty of its architecture.
The Shaykhunia Khanqah was a cultural center, destination for legitimacy sciences people such as scientists and students from all Islamic countries, Besides, the Shaykhunia Khanqah was mystical refuge and home for incoming strangers to Egypt.
The Shaykhunia Khanqah had an administrative staff that consisted of sheikh, supervisor, imam and teachers of doctrines and other sciences in addition to the people who served in it.
