Abstract EN

In this study, the researcher clarifies ways to transfer the linguistic terms into Arabic, through Al-Mawred dictionary of Munir Al-Baalbaki, which is a bilingual dictionary in the contemporary Arabic language, and their equivalents from the English language.

The English language is the entrance language, and the Arabic language is the explanation language.

The dictionary contains all the terms related to knowledge, different contemporary and modern sciences provided that they are common and circulated, and it moved away from uncommon terms and words.

Additionally, it points to the multiplicity of meanings of a single word with its distinction, including linguistic terms, which carry different meanings.

This made it the responsibility of linguists in transferring these terms.
