The free zones represent one of the ways to attract investments, by offering a set of incentives, facilities and investment benefits, and the idea of the free zone dates back to the era of the roman empire, where it was established for the purpose of transit international trade, and in modern times colonial countries took advantage of some important sites in their colonies to create regions free in order to achieve material profit through international trade transiting through it, and the free zones have witnessed a great development since the beginning of the sixties in terms of purpose or places of residence or the area on which they are built, or the places of shipping and export and others, as they differ their shapes and names from one country to another.
