دراسة تأثير التسميد الفوسفاتي في بعض صفات نمو و إنتاجية محصول القطن طويل التيلة (Gossypium barbadense L.)‎ تحت ظروف منطقة الكود-دلتا أبين

Abstract EN

A field experiment was carried out at the experimental farm of El-kod Agricultural Research Station, in Abyan Governorate during 2010 and 2011seasons.

The study aimed to determine the influence of four levels of phosphorus fertilizer (Po, P15, P30 and P45 kg / ha) in the form of superphosphate 46% P2O5 and phosphorus percentage 21% in the growth and yield of long-staple cotton cultivar (Mu'allem 2000).

The experiment included 4 treatments.

The design of each experiment was RCBD with four replications were used.

The area of each plot was 12 m2.

The values of the first flower and the first boll opening , weight of one boll and lint percentage were not affected significantly by phosphorus fertilization rates in both seasons.

However, there is an increase in the rates of phosphorus fertilization which led to a significant increase in the following values: plant height, the height of the first sympodia, the number of monopodia and sympodia/ plant , leaf area and its index.

The number of open boll/plant , seed cotton yield/plant and yield per hectare of cotton seed in both seasons, have made treatment P30 highest values, and the least up to the values were planted when the control treatment is in both seasons.

Phosphorus fertilizer reflected significantly linear regression correlation to increase plant height, the number of sympodia/plant , leaf area and yield per hectare of cotton seed in both seasons.

In addition, there is a positive significant correlation with plant height, sympodia/plant , leaf area and yield per hectare of cotton seed.
